Job summary

AP Executive is seeking a Litigation lawyer for a prestigious offshore firm in Jersey to take principal responsibility for a broad range of contentious matters and supervise junior team members.

The ideal candidate has 6+ years’ post-qualification experience with Jersey/UK/Commonwealth qualifications, strong drafting and research skills, and a client-focused, highly organized approach to cross-jurisdictional projects.

Qualifications

• 6+ years’ post-qualification experience with a Jersey, UK or Commonwealth qualification and significant litigation experience.
• Proven delegation and supervisory experience.
• Client-focused approach and strong organisational and time-management abilities.
• Business development experience and understanding of time recording, billing and financial disciplines (advantageous).
• Ability to work independently, demonstrate initiative, manage competing priorities and contribute to cross-jurisdictional projects.

Responsibilities

• Take principal responsibility for a broad range of contentious matters.
• Manage and coordinate client work with minimal partner supervision and maintain extensive direct client contact.
• Supervise junior team members and contribute to the growth and development of the firm's global litigation practice.
