Senior Linux Systems Engineer

Location: Guildford, GU1 4QU
Salary: £50K - £85K per annum, DOE + Benefits, Bonus and Relocation
Contract: Full time, Permanent

We are Kaon Ltd and we are recruiting for a Senior Linux Systems Engineer. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in Linux administration and a strong understanding of system architecture.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Manage and maintain Linux servers and infrastructure.
2. Implement and manage system security and data protection.
3. Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues.
4. Collaborate with development teams to optimize application performance.
5. Provide technical support and guidance to team members.

Minimum Requirements:

1. Proven experience as a Linux Systems Engineer or similar role.
2. Strong knowledge of Linux operating systems and server management.
3. Experience with scripting languages (e.g., Bash, Python).
4. Familiarity with cloud services (AWS, Azure) is a plus.
5. Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
