Job summary
White Lift Services, part of the Complii Group, seeks a Lift Technical Manager in Leeds to take technical ownership across maintenance, repair, modernisation and installation activities. You will guide engineers, ensure safe and high-standard works, and serve as the technical escalation point for complex tasks.
You will lead on modernisation projects, review drawings, and mentor engineers and apprentices, strengthening technical capability and delivery standards across the business.
Qualifications
- Significant technical experience in lift maintenance, repair, modernisation and installation.
- Strong leadership and communication skills to mentor engineers and apprentices.
- Proactive, solutions-focused approach with diagnostic and problem-solving abilities.
- Up-to-date knowledge of lift regulations, standards and best practice.
Responsibilities
- Provide day-to-day technical support to lift engineers and act as escalation point for high-risk works.
- Lead lift modernisation and installation projects, review specs and drawings, oversee testing and sign-off.
- Maintain regulatory knowledge and drive continuous improvement in technical and operational performance.
- Support development of senior engineers and apprentices within the team.
