Job summary

Mitsubishi Electric is seeking an Engineering Draughtsman for complex lift and escalator projects in Croydon. You will create 2D/3D drawings and coordinate with clients and key stakeholders to meet contractual milestones.

The role requires a minimum of five years’ experience, strong CAD/BIM skills (including Revit), and the ability to integrate with factories and third party suppliers. DSSU style and safety standards apply.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years experience in the role.
• Proficient in drawing production using CAD 2D/3D or BIM tools.
• Knowledge of regulatory requirements and design standards.
• Experience with Lift/escalator projects is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Produce 2D/3D drawings for lift/escalator projects.
• Coordinate design with clients and stakeholders.
• Support other engineers and draughtsmen.
• Ensure designs meet regulatory and contractual milestones.
• Perform design reviews and troubleshooting with factories and suppliers.
