Job summary

Progressive is seeking an experienced Draughtsman for a 3‑month, on-site contract near Woking, Surrey. The role starts 5 October 2026 and involves producing precise AutoCAD drawings to support ongoing construction projects.

You will work with engineers and project managers to interpret design intent, update documentation, and ensure all drawings meet project specifications. Lift & escalator sector experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Experience producing detailed drawings in line with industry standards.
• Strong background in construction projects and site constraints.
• Ability to create, update and maintain quality construction documentation.
• Regular collaboration with engineers and project managers.

Responsibilities

• Produce detailed AutoCAD drawings and plans aligned with project specs.
• Update and maintain construction documentation throughout project lifecycle.
• Coordinate with engineers and project managers to resolve drawing queries.
• Provide status updates on drawing progress to stakeholders.
