About The Role

We are expanding and are looking for an experienced Life Underwriter (individual policies) to join our established team.
You will report to our team based in Exeter, with options for remote work or working from our Exeter or Bournemouth offices.
Some visits to Exeter may be necessary for key events and training (expenses covered).
You’ll be part of a supportive team, whether working remotely or on-site, and we invite you to explore this opportunity with us.

About You
We seek experienced Underwriters with a background in Life, Critical Illness, and Income Protection, specifically on individual policies. You should have relevant experience in a similar role and be eager to develop further. Experience in underwriting large cases with high sums assured is highly desirable.
You should be proactive and capable of working independently and within a team, with excellent organizational skills to manage priorities. Building strong team relationships and supporting colleagues are important qualities.

• Excellent communication skills
