Job summary

EY Life Actuarial in the UK seeks a high-performing Senior Consultant to join its Life Actuarial practice. You will work on a range of client projects, delivering insights and applying latest actuarial methods to real-world insurance challenges.

You’ll join a large, multinational team with opportunities to develop leadership, collaborate across UK and international colleagues, and contribute to transformation, capital management and analytics initiatives in a dynamic, supportive environment.

Qualifications

• Degree and professional actuarial qualifications (part qualified or newly qualified) with a strong exam record.
• Experience working on life insurance projects, either client-side or in consultancy.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and work with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• You will assist in the delivery of key projects for our clients on a wide range of topics.
• You will create innovative and commercial insights for clients and adapt methods to fit client teams and culture.
• Improve operational efficiency on projects and internal initiatives, driving work to completion.
• Manage time and deliver for clients and internal stakeholders, anticipate risks and escalate issues as needed.
• Foster a learning culture and coach junior team members.
• Develop EY capabilities in technical areas and engage with clients on methodologies.
• Collaborate with colleagues across UK Life Actuarial to deliver multi-disciplinary, cross-geographical work.
