Job Summary:


A permanent opportunity to join our Consumer Products team in Hammersmith - bring your Beauty and Fashion experience to Disney!


This role is based 4 days a week in the office, with one day working from home.

The Senior Licensing Sales Manager is responsible for managing key commercial licensing partnerships with leading EMEA retailers and suppliers.

Covering a wide portfolio of health & beauty categories, you will develop and execute long-term and fiscal year strategies to maximize each product category, reach all consumer demographics, and boost sales and revenue.

Relationships are crucial to this role. You will actively manage and cultivate engagement, partnerships, and joint business planning with these partners, negotiate contracts, and drive strategic growth in licensing sales for the EMEA business.

Apply creativity, commercial acumen, and category-specific product development knowledge. Utilize digital, social, and brick-and-mortar marketing insights alongside trends and consumer data to craft and implement effective strategies across departments. Be agile to capitalize on opportunities and act swiftly to maximize business potential.

Areas of Responsibility

  1. Develop, set, and execute strategies for the Beauty category aligned with regional plans, including new business initiatives for sub-categories and franchises.
  2. Manage the annual operating plan and quarterly forecasts, setting licensee objectives to foster growth in collaboration with franchise, marketing, product development, and finance teams.
  3. Manage relationships and joint planning with licensees, both new and existing.
  4. Evaluate the licensee base and implement optimization plans to support category growth.
  5. Negotiate contracts with licensees and distributors to maximize Disney royalty revenue, informing all stakeholders accordingly.
  6. Collaborate with creative, product, franchise, and marketing teams to support product sales.
  7. Communicate the International Labour Standards (ILS) process, acting as a liaison with the TWDC ILS team.
  8. Identify, pitch, and secure new licensees that significantly contribute to category growth.
  9. Build strong relationships with Disney market teams for strategic updates and local market insights, sharing best practices.
  10. Coordinate with US, LATAM, and APAC teams to ensure consistent communication on initiatives and licensee management.

Skills Required

  • Background in buying, product development, merchandising, or commercial roles in fashion or health & beauty sales, with strong industry contacts.
  • Proven ability to build relationships, lead change, and collaborate across departments to meet financial and strategic goals.
  • Data analysis skills to draw actionable insights and implement recommendations.
  • Excellent English communication skills; proficiency in other European languages is beneficial.
  • Good understanding of digital, social, and brick-and-mortar marketing.
  • Strong commercial, strategic, and problem-solving skills, with an innovative mindset.
  • Effective influencing skills to secure buy-in across all levels.
