Job summary

Bournemouth Aviation Services Ltd (BASL), based at Bournemouth Airport, is seeking an experienced aircraft maintenance professional to support our operations. The role involves maintenance, troubleshooting, and certifying releases to service under Part 66/Part 145, while adhering to safety and regulatory standards.

Ideal candidates hold an EASA and/or CAA B1.1 license, have 5+ years’ practical maintenance experience, and are fluent in English.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of practical aircraft maintenance experience.
• Strong knowledge of Part 145 regulations.
• Current EASA/CAA B1.1 license required.
• Fluent in English.
• Right to work in the UK.

Responsibilities

• Perform aircraft maintenance within Part 66 / Part 145 limitations.
• Follow and apply safety, compliance policies, manuals, and procedures.
• Issue certificates for release to service, EASA/CAA Form One’s, and serviceable tags.
• Troubleshoot technical issues and implement rational rectification using approved maintenance data.
• Complete assigned tasks within given timeframes, providing regular updates on job progress, defects, and encountered issues.
