Roche is seeking a qualified solicitor in England & Wales to join the Legal team as Legal Counsel. You will support the General Counsel, provide UK/IE legal guidance on commercial and data protection matters, and manage data privacy operations including DSRs and privacy incidents.

The role emphasizes ethical compliance and cross-functional collaboration. You will advise on clinical trial regulations, CTAs, and ensure activities are legally sound while aligning with Roche’s Code of Conduct and

Competenze

• Qualified solicitor in England and Wales.
• 2–6 years PQE.
• Strong knowledge of UK GDPR and UK commercial pharmaceutical law.
• Experience in life sciences or pharmaceutical industry.

Mansioni

• Data Protection Operations: manage DSRs and privacy incidents with escalation to DPO.
• Provide UK/IE legal support on commercial, data protection, competition, advertising, and disputes.
• Ensure ethical compliance with Roche Group Code of Conduct across the business.
• Advise R&D teams on clinical trial regulations and CTAs.
• Support business to ensure activities are commercially sound and legally compliant.
• Identify legal risks from changes in legislation and inform planning/decisions.
• Align legal matters across relevant business areas.
• Maintain and update legal templates and agreements.
