Job Description:

Our client, a reputable, multinational consumer goods company, is recruiting a skilled and proactive Senior Data Protection Lawyer to advise on privacy and data protection law and implementation across their UK and EMEA businesses.

The main purpose of the role is to support the various businesses in implementing their data protection initiatives and to provide timely, accurate, and high-quality legal advice on all aspects of data protection. The role holder will also collaborate with the wider commercial legal team to maximize commercial opportunities and minimize risks.

Experience/Qualifications required:

• LLB or BA Law Qualified – Excellent legal training
• Qualified Solicitor or Barrister – 7+ years PQE
• Good experience in data protection (in-house or private practice), preferably within a large complex multinational or high-quality legal practice.
• Excellent negotiation, drafting, and analytical skills; proactive problem-solver with a keen eye for detail.
• Ability to communicate complex legal issues clearly and effectively to non-legal audiences.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment with shifting priorities.
