Job Description:

Meraki Talent is working with a leading global listed technology company to identify a Legal Counsel (Bespoke Drafting). This role offers fully remote working.

Responsibilities include:

• Serving as a strategic business partner for software and cloud solutions teams.
• Engaging in strategic planning, contract development, and business strategy with these teams.
• Drafting and reviewing complex technical scope descriptions and pricing documents for new products and services, with a focus on bespoke drafting from scratch, including formulating end-to-end flow down terms and developing complex contracting structures.
• Developing and maintaining forms, templates, standards, and automation for software and cloud solutions delivery.
• Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating agreements with service partners, suppliers, and other IT sector agreements.
• Providing legal advice to key stakeholders and collaborating with regional counsels on negotiations and risk assessments.
• Advising on risks, including data protection aspects, and keeping the legal team informed on business developments.
• Training business teams and legal staff on legal and compliance matters related to software and cloud solutions.

Required experience includes:

• Law degree
• At least 3 years post-qualification experience, preferably as in-house counsel in a multinational IT company with outsourcing experience.
• Fluency in English; additional languages are a plus.
• Experience in drafting, negotiating, and reviewing commercial contracts, especially technical scope descriptions and pricing.
• Experience working with product managers on product development and deployment cycles.
• Excellent communication, bespoke drafting, and presentation skills.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams.
