Job summary

We are seeking a commercially minded lawyer to join a market-leading international business with operations across sports, entertainment, media, marketing and talent representation. The role focuses on commercial contracts, stakeholder partnering, and supporting strategic business initiatives.

You will work closely with senior stakeholders, providing practical legal advice on a wide range of matters including employment and people-related issues where required, governance and regulatory matters,

Qualifications

• 4+ years' PQE (guideline).
• Strong commercial contracts experience in private practice or in-house.
• Experience negotiating and managing a broad range of commercial agreements.
• Excellent commercial judgement and risk awareness.
• Strong stakeholder management and ability to influence at senior levels.

Responsibilities

• Drafting, reviewing and negotiating complex commercial agreements

• Supporting revenue-generating commercial arrangements

This is a broad and business-facing legal role with a strong emphasis on commercial contracts, stakeholder partnering and supporting strategic business initiatives.

The Role

You will work closely with senior stakeholders across the business, providing commercially focused legal advice on a wide range of matters, including:

• Drafting, reviewing and negotiating complex commercial agreements
• Advising on consultancy, agency, partnership and services agreements
• Supporting key revenue-generating commercial arrangements
• Providing practical, risk-based legal advice to business stakeholders
• Advising on employment and people-related matters where required
• Supporting corporate transactions, acquisitions and business integration projects
• Assisting with governance, compliance and regulatory matters
• Managing external counsel across multiple jurisdictions
• Collaborating with colleagues across international offices and business units

About You

We are interested in speaking with lawyers who can demonstrate:

• 4+ years' PQE (guideline only)
• Strong commercial contracts experience gained in private practice and/or in-house
• Experience negotiating and managing a broad range of commercial agreements
• Excellent commercial judgement and pragmatic approach to legal risk
• Strong stakeholder management skills and the ability to influence at senior levels
• Confidence working autonomously while managing a varied workload
• The ability to balance legal, commercial and operational considerations
• Exposure to employment, corporate, compliance or M&A matters would be advantageous
• Experience supporting international businesses would be beneficial
