The Role: Joining DAZN as a Senior Legal Counsel (CDR) means playing a key role in navigating the fast-evolving legal landscape of a global sports streaming leader. You’ll provide strategic legal support to our commercial and product teams, focusing on regulatory advisory matters. From global product launches to high-impact deals, you'll collaborate on initiatives that shape the future of digital sports consumption. You’ll also engage with regulators and expand your transactional expertise across partnerships and distribution deals worldwide. This is a fantastic opportunity for a mid-level TMT or commercial lawyer to step into the exciting world of sports media.

What you’ll be doing:

• Lead our core regulatory advisory function in the CDR Legal team, including advising on the consumer, competition and broadcast regulatory law aspects of DAZN’s various products and services.
• Provide legal support for business stakeholders relating to new product initiatives and product development.
• Be responsible for day-to-day legal advice requirements for terms and conditions, marketing campaigns, price changes, win-back campaigns, customer migrations and promotional offers on a global basis.
• Provide a holistic approach to compliance, developing and maintaining applicable documentation and comparing applicable laws and regulations across multiple jurisdictions.
• Draft and negotiate a variety of partnership, distribution and other commercial agreements.
• Work closely with other members of the wider DAZN Group Legal team across various specialisms to assist with regulatory involvement in wider DAZN projects (e.g. corporate, media rights and broadcast, new markets, IP).

What You’ll Bring:

• Demonstrable experience of PQE, with training at a leading international TMT or commercial team (either in private practice or a strong in-house team).
• Expert knowledge of laws impacting digital media services, with a particular focus on UK and EU regulations.
• Ability to translate complex legal concepts into practical business solutions, managing legal risks in an approachable, clear manner.
• First-class technical legal skills, including advisory, drafting, and interpretation expertise.
• Proactive mindset, eager to step out of your comfort zone and play a key role in developing DAZN's legal function.
