Job summary

Marsden is seeking a seasoned professional to join a private investment office that manages family wealth and investment vehicles. The role sits at the intersection of legal, operational and investment activities, reporting to the COO, and supports both existing family office operations and new platforms.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience within a legal, tax, fiduciary, private client, wealth management, family office or investment management environment.

Responsibilities

• Leading the review and management of third-party legal documentation, including NDAs and supplier agreements.
• Supporting investment activities through the review of fund structures, limited partnership agreements, side letters and subscription documentation.
• Coordinating external legal, tax and regulatory advisers across multiple jurisdictions.
• Acting as company secretary for a range of entities, including preparation of board minutes and management of statutory requirements.
• Supporting the establishment and ongoing administration of new investment vehicles and structures.
• Coordinating annual tax-related information gathering across a network of family entities and stakeholders.
• Maintaining governance frameworks, policies and procedures across regulated and non-regulated entities.
• Supporting broader operational initiatives, including HR policy management and the implementation of best-practice processes.

Working as part of a small, high-calibre team, this newly created role sits at the intersection of legal, operational and investment activities. Reporting directly to the COO, the successful candidate will play a key role in supporting both established family office operations and the development of several new investment platforms.

Qualifications
