Job summary

Avanade seeks a Delivery Lead – Legacy Modernization to own end-to-end delivery of complex modernization programs. You will govern multiple workstreams, manage risks and dependencies, and collaborate with client executives, migration, and engineering teams to ensure stable, contractually-aligned outcomes.

The role focuses on orchestration across delivery, engineering, testing, and cutover activities, reporting progress to senior stakeholders and ensuring business continuity.

• Experience leading complex legacy modernization programs.
• Strong governance, risk and issue management capabilities.
• Excellent executive communication and client relationship skills.

Responsibilities

• Owns end-to-end delivery ownership from mobilization through stabilization and client acceptance.
• Defines and operates delivery governance, program boards, and reporting cadence.
• Manages RAID, escalation handling, and delivery reporting quality to ensure contract alignment.
• Drives client satisfaction, proactive risk management, and opportunities for follow-on work.
• Orchestrates modernization workstreams including code conversion, data migration, testing, cutover, and stabilization.
