Job summary

Battersea Dogs & Cats Home is seeking a Senior Legacy & In Memory Stewardship Officer to lead the Legacy & In Memory Retention and Stewardship programme, delivering a bespoke, personalised, multi-channel stewardship and exceptional supporter care for legacy enquirers, legacy pledgers and in memory donors.

Through building meaningful, long-term relationships with these audiences, the role will help maximise income from a multimillion-pound revenue stream, with interview dates: 23rd November 2026,

We are recruiting a Senior Legacy & In Memory Stewardship Officer to manage Battersea’s Legacy & In Memory Retention and Stewardship programme.

Legacies generate over 40% of Battersea’s income, making the effective stewardship of these supporters a vital organisational function.

In this role you will be responsible for delivering and overseeing a bespoke, personalised, multi-channel stewardship programme and will provide exceptional supporter care for legacy enquirers, legacy pledgers and in memory donors.

Through building meaningful, long-term relationships with these audiences, the role will help maximise income from a multimillion-pound revenue stream.
