Job summary

Education Impact Academy Trust seeks a Senior Learning Mentor to join the Pastoral Team. You will lead targeted programmes to boost attendance, achievement and student engagement, and coordinate effective interventions for individuals and groups.

You will work with teachers, pastoral teams and leaders to remove barriers to learning and support students’ wellbeing and readiness to learn, engaging with families and external agencies to provide holistic support.

Qualifications

• Proven track record in developing and delivering intervention programmes.
• Experience delivering whole-school and targeted interventions.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills with students, families and staff.
• High resilience and emotional intelligence when supporting students with complex needs.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop targeted programmes to improve attendance, achievement and engagement.
• Deliver and coordinate whole-school and targeted interventions for individuals and groups.
• Provide guidance that enhances self-esteem, wellbeing and readiness to learn.
• Collaborate with teaching, pastoral teams and leadership to remove barriers to learning.
• Engage with parents, carers and external agencies to provide holistic support.
