Job summary

Purosearch Ltd is seeking an experienced Registered Manager to lead two adult social care services in Manchester and Rochdale. You will oversee a residential care home and a newly registered supported living service, ensuring high CQC standards and person-centred care.

The role emphasizes quality improvement, safeguarding, PBS, and staff development, with on-site duties and salary up to £60,000 plus bonuses.

Qualifications

• Experience managing adult social care services.
• Knowledge of CQC regulations, compliance and inspections.
• Experience with Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) and behaviours of concern.
• Full UK driving licence – essential.

Responsibilities

• Take overall responsibility for both CQC-registered care services.
• Lead and develop Deputy Managers, Team Leaders and care teams.
• Drive improvement from Requires Improvement to Good and beyond.
• Prepare the supported living service for its first CQC inspection.
• Maintain high standards of CQC compliance and safeguarding.
• Oversee care planning, risk assessments, safeguarding, incidents and complaints.
• Manage recruitment, supervision, training and staff development.
• Oversee staffing, budgets, performance and operational delivery.
