Our Senior Learning Coaches support students in achieving learning goals and qualifications to enhance their progression opportunities and life skills. They assist with planning and delivering teaching sessions, learning, and assessment for learners with learning disabilities/difficulties, including autism and complex needs.
We seek candidates with recent experience working with and supporting students aged 16-25 with a range of needs. Flexibility to adapt to changing curriculum needs and individual student requirements is essential. A positive, enthusiastic attitude, effective communication skills at all levels, and high computer literacy are also required.
Experience in a specialist school or college, and sourcing work experience placements for young people with additional needs, would be advantageous.
