Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust seeks an exceptional Head of Built Environment IPC to lead strategic IPC across healthcare infrastructure, water safety, ventilation and decontamination. This 24-month fixed-term role sits on the IPC leadership team, guiding governance, risk management and assurance across complex capital programmes.

The post requires a registered healthcare professional with substantial senior IPC experience, strong leadership, and the ability to influence stakeholders

Qualificações

• Registered healthcare professional with statutory regulator (GMC/NMC/GPhC).
• Postgraduate qualification in IPC required. Master’s level education or progress toward it.
• Postgraduate management development/qualification or demonstrable experience.
• Evidence of ongoing professional development.

Responsabilidades

• Provide strategic leadership for built environment IPC across infrastructure and projects.
• Embed infection prevention requirements in capital developments and refurbishments.
• Offer authoritative IPC advice, conduct risk assessments, escalate significant risks.
• Develop strategy, policy and assurance frameworks; contribute to incident management.
• Represent IPC in senior forums and Board reporting.
