Job summary

UK Addiction Treatment Centres (UKAT) is hiring a Lead Therapist at Liberty House Clinic, Old Bedford Road, LU2 7HP. This is a senior clinical post with responsibility for leading the therapeutic programme and supporting therapists within a multidisciplinary team.

You will shape clinical practice, maintain governance standards and guide clients through recovery, delivering group and individual sessions in line with treatment programmes.

Qualifications

• Minimum Level 6 qualification and registration with the relevant public register (e.g. BACP or NCPS).
• Substantial experience in addiction, mental health, or residential treatment settings.
• Experience in a senior, lead, or supervisory therapy role.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical leadership and oversight of the therapy team.
• Deliver and oversee group and one-to-one therapy.
• Support development, supervision, and performance of therapists.
• Contribute to treatment planning, reviews, and multidisciplinary meetings.
• Ensure therapy delivery aligns with standards and governance.
