UK Addiction Treatment Centres (UKAT) is seeking an Addiction Therapist at Sanctuary Lodge, Halstead. This permanent role offers £29,000–£30,000 per year (DOE) and a 40-hour week from Monday to Friday, with one weekend per month and allocated days off during the week.

You will contribute to client assessments, deliver therapeutic support through group-work and one-to-one interventions, counsel individuals about substance use, and maintain accurate records.

Formación

• Level 4+ qualification in Counselling or equivalent.
• Professional membership to BACP/NCPS.
• Minimum 1 year direct client work and group therapy.
• Experience delivering therapeutic support programmes.
• Experience with assessment & group-work.
• Flexible communication with sessional staff, volunteers and clients.
• Experience partnering with statutory and non-statutory agencies.
• Planning and administration skills.
• Understanding safeguarding procedures.

Responsabilidades

• Contribute to assessments of clients within agreed timescales.
• Deliver therapeutic support through group-work sessions and one-to-one interventions.
• Contribute to regular reviews of the client with probation and health workers.
• Counsel individuals about their substance use.
• Help individuals address substance use and offending behaviour.
• Maintain records of client attendance and participation in the group programme.
• Explore, implement and supervise approaches for detoxification/stabilisation.
• Ensure all administration and reporting is accurate.
• Safeguard clients and follow safeguarding procedures.
