Job Description:

As a Software Engineer, you will play an important role in designing and developing our modern private cloud MySQL offerings. You will bring your experience to a talented team to evolve our technical capabilities, improve our SDLC, and unlock new capabilities for our clients. Collaboration across all cloud product offerings is expected.

Job responsibilities

• Review stakeholder requirements and work with Product Owners to shape product direction, balancing technical feasibility and end-user desires.
• Implement solutions focusing on both functional and non-functional requirements.
• Design and develop reliable, scalable solutions using reusable code and leveraging architecture/framework capabilities.
• Conduct code reviews to ensure quality.
• Contribute to technical documentation.
• Provide production support and L3 coverage through solid analysis and problem solving.

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

• Strong experience in Python.
• Knowledge of security and authentication protocols (. OIDC, OAUTH).
• Understanding of algorithms and data structures.
• Proficiency in Unix Shell scripting and SQL.
• Expertise in software design using hexagonal architecture and Domain Driven Design.
• Experience in REST API design and development.
• Familiarity with build automation, TDD, CI/CD.
• Experience with Relational Databases, especially MySQL.

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

• Experience with public cloud platforms (AWS, Google Cloud, Azure).
• Experience managing large application/system configurations (thousands of nodes).
• Knowledge of TypeScript and React.
