As a Senior Lead Software Engineer at JPMorgan Chase within the Corporate Technology Market Risk team, you will lead the rapid expansion of a strategic visualization and reporting platform. You will be an integral part of an agile team that works to enhance, build, and deliver trusted market-leading technology solutions in a secure, stable, and scalable way. Drive significant business impact through your capabilities and contributions, and apply deep technical expertise and problem-solving methodologies to tackle a diverse array of challenges that span multiple technologies and applications.

Responsibilities:

• Execute creative software solutions, design, develop, and troubleshoot technical issues, thinking beyond routine approaches to build solutions or analyze problems.
• Develop secure, high-quality production code, review, and debug code written by others.
• Collaborate with platform leaders, product managers, product owners, scrum masters, and UX teams to ensure smooth feature delivery and valuable solutions.
• Contribute to the engineering community by advocating for firmwide and Risk Technology frameworks, tools, standards, and SDLC practices.
• Influence peers and decision-makers to consider and adopt strategic, leading-edge technologies.
• Lead by developing a high-performing, dynamic team and help them minimize impediments to progress.
• Demonstrate the ability to independently tackle design and functionality challenges with minimal oversight.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Formal training or certification in Computer Science concepts with proficient advanced experience.
• Hands-on experience with system design, application development, testing, and operational stability.
• Design and implement data sourcing strategies from various internal and external sources.
• Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and completeness, collaborating with data providers and stakeholders.
• Stay informed of legal and jurisdictional requirements related to Market Risk reporting, ensuring platform compliance.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience collaborating with UX professionals.
