Job summary

CPR is seeking a Lead Project Engineer to own the signalling project engineering on the CCS programme from client side. You will provide technical leadership through design, construction, testing and commissioning, ensuring outputs meet requirements and are handed back successfully.

You will coordinate interfaces across contracts, drive engineering assurance, and communicate technical needs to the supply chain, while fulfilling CDM 2015 Principal Designer duties and NEC3 supervision.

Qualifications

• Background in high-speed or main line railway signalling covering CCS design, installation, testing and commissioning.
• Experience coordinating multi-discipline teams with civils, systems integration, power and telecoms.
• Familiarity with CDM 2015 Principal Designer duties and NEC3 contract administration.

Responsibilities

• Own the signalling project engineering leadership on the CCS programme from concept through handback.
• Lead engineering assurance against client specifications and standards, supported by senior engineers.
• Manage interfaces between CCS contracts and wider railway systems contracts; coordinate with supply chain.
• Discharge Principal Designer duties under CDM 2015 and NEC3 Supervisor duties within scope.
