Job summary

Critical Project Resourcing Ltd. is seeking a Lead Project Engineer Signalling for a high-speed rail CCS programme. You will own the client-side signalling engineering, guiding design, construction, testing and handback, with a focus on technical assurance and multi‑discipline interfaces.

You will drive leadership across CCS stages, ensuring compliance with CDM 2015 and NEC3 contracts while coordinating with civils, power and telecoms teams. Chartered Engineer status is expected.

Qualifications

• Senior signalling engineer with hands-on CCS design, installation, testing and commissioning across stages of a high‑speed rail project.
• Experience leading technical assurance and interface management between client and contractor teams.
• Chartered Engineer status or equivalent through a recognised professional body is expected.

Responsibilities

• Own signalling project engineering on the CCS programme from the client side.
• Provide technical leadership across design, construction, testing and handback.
• Lead engineering assurance against client standards and specifications.
• Manage interfaces with wider railway contracts and the supply chain, including CDM 2015 duties and NEC3 contract administration.
