Job summary

The Royal Berkshire NHS Foundation Trust in Reading is seeking a Band 8B Senior Lead Pharmacist – Clinical Services & Performance to provide senior clinical and operational leadership across clinical pharmacy services.

You will drive performance using KPIs and data, lead workforce deployment and service transformation, and contribute to pharmacist prescribing and medicines optimisation, ensuring safe, effective and patient-centred care.

Qualifications

Lead performance and development of clinical pharmacy services using data and service intelligence.
Develop pharmacist prescribing and medicines optimisation.
Deputise for Associate Chief Pharmacist – Clinical Services as required.

Responsibilities

Provide senior clinical and operational leadership across clinical pharmacy services.
Oversee workforce deployment, rota management, capacity and resilience.
Drive service transformation and digital solutions in clinical pharmacy.
