Job summary

Royal Berkshire NHS Foundation Trust invites applications for a Band 8A Lead Pharmacist for Children’s Services. This senior clinical leadership role focuses on paediatric medicines governance, optimisation, and education, with responsibility for neonatal care and MDT collaboration.

Qualifications

• Master Degree in Pharmacy.
• Registered with the GPhC (and eligible to practise in the UK).
• Postgraduate Diploma in Clinical Pharmacy.
• Independent Prescriber.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop Paediatric Pharmacy services at Royal Berkshire Hospital, including the Neonatal Care Unit.
• Act as clinical pharmacy leader in Children's Services.
• Provide training to junior staff and rotate through clinical areas.
• Support Medicines Management activities and MDT inquiries.
• Lead with governance and service reviews across Women's Services.
• Collaborate with patients and families to optimise medication use.
