Job summary

Faculty is seeking a Lead Machine Learning Engineer to set the technical direction for large AI projects and lead multiple workstreams in high-risk environments. You will steer production-grade ML platforms, balance trade-offs, and guide senior stakeholders on architectural decisions.

You will implement scalable ML systems, drive deployment infrastructures, and mentor a team to deliver high-impact outcomes for government and enterprise clients.

Qualifications

• Expert at defining technical roadmaps and priorities.
• Mastery of cloud-native ecosystems and Kubernetes.
• Operative experience with TensorFlow or PyTorch.
• Ability to align multi-disciplinary teams with business objectives.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain scalable ML systems for production.
• Develop shared libraries and infra for model deployment and CI/CD.
• Create APIs and services for scalable AI in applications.
• Oversee multiple workstreams in high-risk environments.
• Define testing frameworks and model versioning for senior engineers.
• Coach multiple engineers and set development goals.
• Proactively adopt new AI frameworks to stay competitive.
