Faculty AI in London is seeking a Lead Machine Learning Engineer to drive the technical direction and delivery of complex AI projects. You will act as a technical expert across AI strategy to client deployments, ensuring sound architectural choices and reliable delivery.

This role balances deep technical expertise with strong leadership, focusing on innovation, team growth, and reusable solutions across the organisation. You will lead high-risk projects and shape the future of AI at Faculty AI.

Qualifications

• Strong Python skills with production ML experience.
• Experience deploying models using TF or PyTorch.
• Proven experience leading teams and client engagements.

Responsibilities

• Set technical direction for complex ML projects.
• Design, implement and maintain scalable ML/software systems.
• Define problems, roadmaps and oversee multi-workstream delivery.
• Develop shared resources and libraries across the org.
• Lead hiring, mentor engineers, and foster growth.
• Advise customers and defend technical rationale to stakeholders.
