Job summary

Priority Pass is seeking a Lead DevOps Engineer to own the design, reliability, scalability, security, and cost efficiency of a multi-region AWS platform running Kubernetes and serverless workloads. You will set technical direction for the DevOps team, driving platform standards, and tooling to champion DevEx and resilience.

This hands-on leadership role requires mentoring engineers, owning SLAs, and coordinating across security, audit, and risk functions while embedding AI-assisted operations

Qualifications

• Proven ownership of a production-grade EKS platform with zero-downtime deployments.
• Terraform IaC standards and governance.
• Automation of CI/CD pipelines with focus on developer experience.
• Experience embedding AI into SLDC workflows.
• Hands-on disaster recovery with multi-region failover.

Responsibilities

• Platform Ownership: end-to-end reliability, security posture, and performance.
• Zero-Downtime Operations: multi-region, blue/green and canary deployments.
• Security & Compliance: IAM, KMS, Secrets, PCI DSS/CIS controls.
• DR & BC: disaster recovery strategy and automation.
• TCO & Cost Management: cost visibility and rightsizing.
• IaC & CI/CD: Terraform/Terragrunt standards and secure deployments.
• Observability: Datadog dashboards, SLOs, alerts.
• Team Leadership: mentor DevOps engineers and grow platform thinking.
• AI & Automation: integrate AI into pipelines and tooling.
