the Senior Lawyer (Commercial) will be the lead legal advisor and in-house point of contact for commercial law related advice, contracts and support.
Working under the strategic direction of the Director and Deputy Director of Legal Services, this role includes a high degree of autonomy in handling complex commercial matters, supervising and managing the Commercial Lawyers in the team and working collaboratively across the adjacent Senior Lawyers in the Regulatory and Contentious and Employment areas.

Legal Services is an integral part of the University’s professional services.
we’re looking for a commercial, pragmatic and technically capable lawyer, with great interpersonal skills and the ability to exercise sound commercial judgement in a complex environment. You will have strong experience in contracts and commercial matters, especially IT contracts. You will be comfortable in developing expertise in adjacent areas and work well as part of multidisciplinary teams.
