Job summary

Essential Employment Ltd is seeking a Senior Lawyer to join a local government legal team in Devon on a temporary basis. The role demands extensive experience in litigation, advocacy, and criminal matters, including crown court regulatory/trading standards, with rights to conduct litigation.

The successful candidate will supervise junior lawyers, provide fast-paced legal advice on a range of topics, and demonstrate willingness to learn new areas of law.

Qualifications

• Experience as a local government lawyer with rights to conduct litigation and advocacy.

Senior Lawyer needed in Devon

This is a temporary role and the rate is £42.67ph PAYE

The successful candidate will be an experienced local government lawyer with rights to conduct litigation and advocacy and with substantial recent experience in criminal litigation including but not limited to crown court regulatory/trading standards.

They will also be expected to offer some supervision to junior members of the team and must be willing to learn new areas of law to be able to provide fast paced legal advice on a range of topics.
