Qualifications

• Proven experience with PHP 8+ and Laravel 10+ in production.
• Full stack capability across backend and frontend using Blade/Livewire.
• Experience with MySQL and Redis for caching and queues.
• Docker and docker-compose experience in containerised environments.
• Background job processing and queue-based workflows experience.
• Version control with Git and collaborative workflows.
• Strong communication and ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and development of backend services within a Laravel environment.
• Own service-layer logic and implement modular solutions for integrations.
• Collaborate to evolve queue handling, reliability and tracing.
• Work with DevOps and QA to enhance CI/CD pipelines and testing.
• Maintain Docker-based development environments and multiple queue workers.
• Proactively address technical debt and drive production readiness.
• Contribute to system integrations (RingCentral, Twilio, AWS APIs).
• Mentor teammates and promote best practices across the stack.
• Drive frontend tooling improvements with Livewire, TailwindCSS and Vite.
