Job summary

ScottishPower Renewables seeks a Senior Land & Estates Surveyor to lead land rights for wind, BESS, and solar projects across the UK. You will work with the Land & Estates Manager to secure rights from inception to completion, managing complex negotiations and due diligence.

You will oversee valuation, risk assessments, and contract frameworks while coordinating with Legal, Project teams, and external partners to ensure timely delivery and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• MRICS membership and degree in land-related discipline are essential.
• Experience in estates management and land acquisitions is required.
• Proven negotiation skills and ability to manage multiple projects.

Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of renewable energy projects across the UK.
• Coordinate Heads of Terms and land rights documents with landowners.
• Conduct land rights valuations and advise on compulsory purchase processes.
• Mentor and develop Land & Estates team members.
• Monitor land requirements against project timelines and mitigate risks.
