Job summary

Trevett Project Services is seeking an experienced Mechanical Site Manager for a laboratory refurbishment and relocation programme in Southampton. You will lead day-to-day site activities, manage M&E works, and ensure safety, programme, and quality standards are met.

The role requires mechanically biased expertise, SMSTS, First Aid at Work, and strong reporting using PowerPoint and Microsoft Project, with a preference for candidates based in Southampton.

Qualifications

• Previous Site Management experience on laboratory refurbishment projects.
• Mechanically biased with strong M&E knowledge.
• SMSTS and First Aid at Work.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient with PowerPoint and Microsoft Project.
• Southampton or nearby commuting distance preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day site works, ensuring safety, programme and quality.
• Coordinate subcontractors and specialist trades on site.
• Maintain health and safety on site and report weekly progress.
• Produce weekly progress reports using PowerPoint and MS Project.
