About The Role

We're seeking a Senior Kitchen Manager / Head Chef to join the Butlin's team based in Minehead.

At Butlin's, our resorts are dedicated to providing great food and memorable experiences. In this role, you'll lead and develop our culinary team within the Restaurants Department.

Your responsibilities include ensuring Junior Kitchen Managers lead each shift, maintaining compliance with food safety and Health & Safety policies, managing food orders with our onsite warehouse, and adhering to HACCP processes.

You will collaborate with the Food Development Team to address operational challenges, develop a motivated culinary team with high ethical standards, and deliver cost-effective, quality service. You'll also enforce cost control, monitor waste, and work closely with the kitchen and front of house teams to ensure smooth operations.

About You

Applicants should have experience managing a kitchen operation at a similar level, with a proven track record of team development in a commercial culinary environment.

You must be hardworking, reliable, and proactive in seeking improvements to consistently meet brand standards. We value energetic, enthusiastic, and fun-loving candidates who understand their role in enhancing the guest experience by unleashing team potential.

Candidates should have passed Level 3 Food Safety qualification and be confident in leading a team in a fast-paced kitchen environment.

Typical working hours are 40 hours per week, across five days out of seven.
