Qualifications

• 8+ years of production KDB+ experience.
• Strong Q language and data-modeling skills.
• Experience with tick architecture (ticker plant, RDB, HDB).

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain kdb+ tick systems with data architecture in mind.
• Tune performance for large datasets, low latency and high throughput.
• Analyze and optimize Q queries, data models and ingestion pipelines.
• Collaborate with Risk teams to translate requirements into scalable code.
• Drive refactoring and performance benchmarking.
• Mentor junior engineers and participate in reviews and incident analysis.
• Work in an Agile environment across design, implementation, testing and release.
