Job summary

Harrington Starr is seeking an experienced kdb+ engineer in London to join a highly technical team building data platforms for global financial markets. This senior, hands-on role will own the delivery of kdb+ platforms and tackle complex real-time and historical data challenges.

You will collaborate with trading, quantitative and technology teams, mentor others, and contribute to architectural decisions while staying hands-on with the technology stack including Python and cloud tooling.

Qualifications

• Experience building production-grade kdb+ platforms.
• Good understanding of real-time, historical and time-series data.
• Strong Linux/Unix knowledge.
• Experience within capital markets, investment banking or trading environments.
