Job summary

Atrium (EMEA) in London is seeking a Developer – Front or Back End for Equities in Investment Banking. Four days onsite, with deep Java/Spring expertise and production-grade services for trading and workflow platforms.

You’ll lead architecture, build scalable trade-flow software, collaborate across Product, Trading, Operations, and Engineering, and push AI-driven automation while maintaining high reliability and performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or related discipline or equivalent experience.
• Real-time, scalable and resilient software design experience in financial services or similar high-throughput domains.
• Deep expertise in Java and the Spring ecosystem with production-grade services.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, architecture and implementation of trading, sales and operations workflows.
• Build scalable trade-flow software for diverse client-side and OMS-side integrations.
• Collaborate with Product, Trading, Operations and Engineering teams to translate requirements into robust solutions.
• Evaluate and adopt emerging technologies to support a modern, high-performance stack.
• Drive AI-assisted automation and tooling to improve developer productivity and system efficiency.
