Job summary

Expedia Group is looking for a Software Engineer to design, develop, and deliver scalable features for the Credit platform. You’ll work in a collaborative, fast-paced environment, using Java/Kotlin and modern microservices architectures.

You will participate in architectural discussions, implement RESTful APIs, and collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineers to ensure reliable, high-performance software across global partners.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Experience with JVM-based languages such as Java or Kotlin.
• Experience designing RESTful APIs and microservices architectures.
• Cloud experience (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and modern DevOps practices.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deliver high-quality software features and services for the Credit platform.
• Write clean, well-tested, maintainable code across the full SDLC, primarily in Java/Kotlin.
• Participate in architectural discussions and influence technology direction.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineers to translate requirements into scalable solutions.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve production issues to ensure reliability and performance.
• Review code and provide constructive feedback to improve quality.
• Contribute to engineering practices, tooling, and processes within the team.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to deliver end-to-end B2B experiences for travel agent partners.
