Job summary

Avanti Recruitment Limited is seeking a Senior Java Full Stack Developer to join an established, international software company in Central London. You will work on Java, Spring Boot, REST APIs and microservices, alongside frontend work using Angular, React or Vue.

This hands-on role is for engineers who enjoy tackling complex problems across backend and frontend, with opportunities to influence architecture and performance within enterprise-scale applications.

Qualifications

• Strong commercial development experience with Java and Spring Boot.
• Hands-on RESTful API and microservices design.
• Frontend development experience with Angular, React or Vue.js.
• Relational databases with SQL query writing and troubleshooting.
• Solid OOP, design patterns and software engineering practices.
• Experience with enterprise applications and modern CI/CD/tooling.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and enhance the company's core software products.
• Build RESTful APIs and microservices for scalable systems.
• Develop frontend functionality across modern frameworks.
• Work with relational databases and SQL.
• Contribute to architecture discussions and performance improvements.
• Support testing, code reviews and releases with the team.
