Job summary

Myn in Greater London and surrounding areas is seeking a Senior Java Developer to lead the design and development of secure, scalable Java services. You will contribute to both legacy and modern platforms, while mentoring junior developers and guiding technical direction.

You will work in a hybrid setup, with responsibilities spanning greenfield work, service transitions, incident handling, and continuous improvement of engineering practices.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience designing, developing and maintaining Java services.
• Proficient in building APIs, microservices and integrated systems.
• Strong with modern CI/CD tooling and cloud-native platforms.
• Experience leading and mentoring in multi-disciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Design secure, scalable and resilient Java solutions with strong controls.
• Write, review and secure code with a focus on TDD and quality.
• Support live services and diagnose issues across complex environments.
• Lead code/design reviews and governance, and mentor junior staff.
