Job summary

Anson McCade Pty is partnering with a leading global consultancy to recruit Senior Java Engineers for a payments-focused delivery team. You will work on large-scale transformation programmes across the banking sector, developing cloud-native, enterprise-grade payment systems.

You'll use Java, Spring Boot and microservices in AWS, implement ISO 20022 guidance, Kafka and modern payment frameworks, and collaborate with architects and banking clients to deliver resilient platforms.

Qualifications

• Strong Java development experience in enterprise-scale systems.
• Expertise in Spring Boot and microservices architectures.
• Experience with AWS cloud environments.
• Knowledge of ISO 20022 payments standards.
• Hands-on experience with the ICON IPF framework.
• Experience delivering for major banking or financial institutions.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management.

Responsibilities

• Develop and enhance enterprise-scale payment processing solutions.
• Build cloud-native applications using Java, Spring Boot and microservices.
• Work within AWS environments to deliver resilient platforms.
• Support modern payment solutions and integrations.
• Develop event-driven services using Kafka.
• Collaborate with architects, engineers and stakeholders throughout the delivery lifecycle.
• Engage with banking clients on critical transformation initiatives.
