Job summary

London Stock Exchange Group (LSEG) is hiring a Senior Developer in London to join the Regulatory News Service team. You will drive end-to-end development, collaborating with tech and business partners to deliver reliable market information and services.

The role involves full lifecycle Agile development, requirements analysis, design, coding, testing and peer reviews, with occasional outside-hours activities to support releases. Strong Java and cloud skills are essential.

Qualifications

Strong knowledge of Java and server-side development.
Experience with OO design, MVC, REST and Web API.
Proficient in unit testing and clean code practices.

Responsibilities

Act as a lead contributor for technical solutions within an agile team.
Analyze requirements and issues, evaluating multiple solutions against criteria.
Identify and remove barriers to deliver value to customers.
Design solutions using standard design patterns and tools.
Conduct peer reviews to ensure robust designs and reusability.
Design and build secure, well-controlled solutions.
