Job summary

London Stock Exchange Group (LSEG) is seeking a Senior Java Developer to join the FX Matching Applications team in London. You will develop and improve backend services supporting FX trading, focusing on reliability, performance, and scalability.

You will collaborate with engineers, product partners, and operations, taking ownership of features from development to production while contributing to testing, code reviews, and continuous improvement efforts.

Qualifications

• Experience developing backend systems in a professional environment.
• Experience working with Java and backend architectures.
• Understanding of performance, scalability and concurrency.
• Familiarity with Git and CI/CD pipelines in product teams.
• Comfortable working in a Linux environment.
