Al Allegis Global Solutions Limited (AGS) seeks a Senior Java Developer for a Tier-1 UK Investment Bank in London. You will drive platform enhancements, craft robust Java/Spring solutions, and collaborate with a global team to meet critical derivatives requirements.

Hybrid work: 2 days onsite, 3 days remote. 5+ years in investment banking IT, strong Java/Spring, and cloud/DevOps practices are expected. This role sits in the FM Digital Channels team delivering pricing and platform capabilities.

Qualifications

• 5+ years hands-on development with investment banking IT experience.
• Strong Core Java (essential) and Spring experience.
• Experience with derivatives trading tech and FX Options knowledge.
• Familiarity with micro-services, containers, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Ability to work in an agile, cross-functional team and own end-to-end delivery.

• Collaborate with global technologists, analysts, project managers, and stakeholders across locations.
• Take ownership of the full development life cycle and ensure robust test coverage.
