Job summary

NTT DATA is hiring a Senior Java Developer for our UK team, offering a hybrid working arrangement between remote work and London (Canary Wharf).

You will develop and maintain Java 8+ applications using Spring Boot, design microservices-based architectures, expose RESTful APIs, and build CI/CD pipelines. The role emphasizes performance, security and collaboration within Agile teams, with a competitive salary between £55,000 and £95,000 per year.

Qualifications

• Several years of Java development experience including Core Java, Spring Boot, Spring MVC and JPA/Hibernate.
• Experience with Microservices architecture and design patterns.
• Experience building REST APIs and CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience with DevOps practices and Docker/Kubernetes.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP) and databases (MySQL/PostgreSQL/MongoDB).
• Experience with Git version control and messaging tools like Kafka/RabbitMQ (nice to have).

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Java 8+ applications using Spring Boot.
• Design and implement microservices-based architectures.
• Build and expose RESTful APIs.
• Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines for automated deployments.
• Work with Docker and Kubernetes for containerized applications.
