Barclays is seeking a Senior Java Developer to join its Technology team in Glasgow. The role focuses on designing, developing and improving software for regulatory compliance and seamless client experiences across unified platforms.

You will work with Java Spring Boot, microservices, and cloud-native components on OpenShift or AWS, contributing to scalable, secure solutions and code quality through reviews and testing.

Qualifications

• Solid experience in backend development using the Java stack.
• Design and delivery of RESTful APIs and microservices.
• Experience with cloud-native components on OpenShift or AWS.
• Familiarity with event-driven architectures (Kafka) and testing frameworks.
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and containerisation tools.

Responsibilities
